Clinton, BC

JULY 12
We came in to Clinton, BC not knowing what to expect but knowing we needed to rest for a few days. It was a great decision we have enjoyed and will stop here on the way the back. The owner of the campground suggested we go on a “mountain road” for a great view and possibly animals. Marble Range Park is so named because of its unusual limestone topography. We saw bear and dear scat, a red tailed squirrel and beaver. When we got back we found out we did not go far enough on the road. As you can see it is steep and winding. When we come back we will try again.
I did not explain that Clinton is a town of about 750 residences. The graduation class has a total of 5. Now the town is converting the school as a kindergarten to 12th grade instead of 7th through 12 since the population does not have enough kids for a separate high school.
