Butte, Montana

We decided to go to the 4th of July Parade in Butte. One thing that amazed me was that there were only 2 bands. The high school band had maybe 20 players and a group riding in a truck. The theme of the parade was recognition of unions and what its done for Montana. Also, we are in Democrats Country, what a pleasure.
After the parade we walked the historic town with all the hills to get exercise. It was lunch time so we decided to go to the sports restaurant in the Metals Bank Bldg.
Butte is only a town of 30,000 and has a great small town atmosphere.
It was a really unique place as pictures will show.
We then went for a ride on the Pintler Scenic Trail. This is such a beautiful part of the country.
