British Columbia
It is hard to describe the beauty we have seen. Some of the mountains are so high I can only photograph them from a distance. As you can see there is more snow in the Canadian Rockies than in Glacier, NP. There were pictures telling the story of how the glaciers have retreated in the park. Some of the pictures today are taken out the front window and have shadows but I couldn't stop from taking them. We saw many osprey and eagle nests with the birds but we were going to fast to stop. At one point at young deer almost ran in front of us. Gene honked the horn and it turned back. Can't imagine what it would have done to our truck and of course the deer. Last night we stopped at Fort Steele and tonight in Revelstoke. The following pictures are of the road trip. We are heading for Kamloops, BC which should be a large town and it has a dealer that can fix our water heater.
