Got up at 5am. We went to Anchorage. On the way we saw Dall sheep which made it worth the early morning wakeup... Decided not to have our rv fixed at Karen’s RV since Dutchman was giving them such a hard time. There is nothing dangerous and we will be at Dutchman’s factory on August 8.

We drove to Palmer and camped at Fox Run cg. Ate lunch, dropped the rv and headed for Hatcher Pass. There is an old mining town of Independence mine. The drive was spectacular. After we toured the town we took the dirt road to Willow. It was 44 miles of beautiful scenery. Gene got a great picture of a duck sitting on its nest and one of a marmot. From Willow we headed back to Palmer. Another great day.
