Traveling through the valley

Our destination today was Santa Rosita, Ca. to meet up with some people we met on our trip to China about 9 years ago. The roads down rt. 5 are really rough. There are so many 18 wheeler trucks going both ways. Some come in from the
port in San Francisco and others picking up produce to send all over. The trucks, travel trailers and motor homes have two lanes and cars have 2 lanes. We got to the campground, Pyramid Lake RV Resort. This is a great family campground with miniature golf, swimming pool, and a great game room with all kinds of game tables.
We then left to meet our friends in Santa Rosita for dinner. You can see the smoke from the fires in LA covering the valley. It was really so nice we talked for hours. We will see them again Wednesday morning, for breakfast, before we leave to go to our next destination. We went through some beautiful country.
