Travel day

Travel day. We went as far as Coalinga, Ca. and stopped. It was great leaving early in the morning there was no traffic. We were expecting some traffic with the Bay Bridge closed, so we took the Richmond Bridge(this is the bridge that collapsed in the earth quake a few years ago) rt 580 to rt 5 and sailed down to our destination, passing almond,peach,orange, grape and pistachio orchards. There was a fruit stand that we went to next to the campground and I tasted…raw pistachios and prunes. I thought prunes were made from dried plums but this is a different small plum like fruit. Very tasty.
