September 9, 10
Wednesday we just chilled, did laundry, played cards, etc. On Thursday we packed up to move on, but first we met our friends Burt and Elaine again. This time we met for a 2 hour breakfast, since we were getting reacquainted after 7 years, we had a lot to talk about.
Then we headed toward Anaheim, Ca. We got settled in the campground, took showers and went over to our friend Barbara Brown that we haven’t seen in 25 years. After a few glasses of wine, meeting her grandkids and daughter, she served us dinner. We did not get home till 12.
Barbs daughter Nicky had not seen us since she was 9 years old, but recognized us immediately. She looked really different to us, of course, and she has 2 beautiful kids. We will be going to her 11 year old son’s soccer game on Saturday afternoon. He was so excited we he heard we would be there.
