It is a good thing we did not take route 1 and stayed on 16. The weather south of us was worse. As we drove from Saskatchewan to Alberta the terrain changed to more rolling hills and oil and gas wells. Because of the weather we did not do anything of importance in Saskatchewan. We did stop into a Wal-Mart for some supplies and the sound of a young baby caught my attention and I had to stop and play with him. I keep thinking of the great grandchild that is back in Texas. I really miss 10 month old Brailynn, she is walking and has at least one tooth.
