The campground found a spot for us for the rest of the week, so we will be here until July 5, 2010, when we leave to head west across Canada.. It is one of the nicest campgrounds with wide spaces between campers. They also have a great tent area in the woods.
About 2 pm we left the cg and went to pick up Jolene, Jeff and Denver to go to Old Orchard Beach. We were treating the for the anniversary. We walked around the boardwalk and stepped in and out of stores. We then went to a great restaurant and had surf & turf which was really good. The lobster was excellent. After diner we walk around and Jeff decided to get a henna tattoo on his back. It started to rain so we stepped into a book store for a while. I bought great granddaughter Brailynn some books. Denver got to play in the arcade and we sat and watched a group called “The Sidecar Heroes”. All the music was sung with out instruments. The singers made there own instrument sounds. They were very good.
By the way, the weather has been great. With only one humid day in our visit this week, the days in the low 70’s and nights getting down to the low 50’s, sleeping has been wonderful.
