Oct 24

What a great day. We went with Jolene & her fiance Jeff to Fort Williams an old military base that was active in the WW1 AND WWII. We hiked all around the fort and visited the lighthouse. Jolene & Jeff are planning to get married there next year so we took pictures and they showed us around. Dinner was in our rv and then we went to a Corn Maze in the middle of a 6 acre corn field. The corn was 9 ft. tall. Your received a Passport to go through the Maze. This was to guide the wandering maze goers through the correct pathways. When you came to a numbered sign inside the maze you stop and answer the corresponding numbered question on the passport. You answer the question and turn the direction of the answer you choose. The first question was "What is the most popular type of candy for trick-or-treaters? a. taffy (turn right), b. gum (turn left) c. candy bars (turn left). You choose one and try to find number 2 all the way up to 10. We did this at night with a flash light. What a great time. We walked for over 2 hrs until we found our way out. It was so cold (34) but fun and unique.
