Cindy’s surprise birthday party Saturday was perfect, although one of her kids, Jackie was unable to make it since she just gave birth to twin girls on Monday. They weighed over 4 lbs each and there names are Emma Rose and Lillyanna Rose. That makes 20 great grand kids. We got reacquainted with the great grandkids we haven’t seen for a year. There was a great slide show with music that included the whole family through the years. It was bitter sweet because there are many family members who have died and sweet seeing how everyone has grown up or older. I enjoyed everyone singing with the slide show music “We Are Family”. We came home and some of the folks staying over in Norene and Marks campers built a fire and some came in our RV to watch the Red Sox’s tie the playoff game. Sunday a group of us went out to a very late breakfast at a little country restaurant. Football was the afternoon’s entertainment along with great conversation. Norene made a lobster salad and we had left over ham salad and potato salad. There were 15 in our trailer for the dinner. All the food was made by Renee and Norene and they did a great job. The slide show was created by our creative grandkids.
We were hoping to leave Mass. on Thursday but this morning we got a call that Sear’s is sending someone out to fix our microwave on Friday so we will probably go to Maine either Friday or Saturday and then stop in New Hampshire the following Monday or Tuesday.
Pics are not to clear. We should have more on the next blog.
