Teslin, Yukon. We are camped along Teslin Lake. It is an 80 mile lake and just beautiful.
The people in the campground told us about a First Nation tournament 20 miles up the road…so…off we went. It is the 23rd hand game championship. It was very exciting. It is very exciting with the drums drumming and people cheering for the team of their choice. It is an elimination type game with the winners receiving $10,000. They have games for both adults and children and everyone gets into the excitement. Gene has it on video.
