After a late night last night we slept in this morning. We watched the VIEW, which we have been watching through the campaign. Sorry for those who work and could not watch their political discussions.
We went for a walk and then went to Lee to go to Joe’s Diner where Norman Rockwell photographed the little boy and policeman on a stool that was one of Saturday Evening Post’s covers. Hope pictures turned out. We had an old fashion greasy hamburger and listened to some of the locals talk.( I was sick as a dog after eating the burger:) Our waitress was a Dallas Cowboy fan. We had some interesting conversation about football.
Traveling through the little New England towns we take note of the old houses from the 1700 and 1800’s and wonder if any houses built now will last that long.
