Sept 24
Sept 24,
We are going to Watkins Glen, N. Y. On the way we stopped at a Seneca Indian museum and saw how the U.S. broke another treaty in 1960. The government needed a dam to divert flood water from inundating Pittsburgh, Pa. They took the land from the Indians although there were other places to put the dam that would not of affect them. There were houses, schools and farms and hunting areas that the “white” man decided they did not need and moved the Indians off 10,000 acres of THERE land.
