We drove all day and have made 3044 miles. Camped at Lake Wabamun park and had some excitement. The people across the way from us noticed some smoke coming out of the camper behind them and called 911. The camper was empty when the firemen broke the door down but we were sitting in the wooded spot and praying a forest fire did not occur. Fortunately they put the fire out and thanks to the guy that dialed 911, he had gone over and turned off the propane he prevented an explosion.
The next night we were in Grande Prairie, BC. We have now traveled 3340 miles. Gene and Jim went into town and on the way saw a coyote. Dixie and I worked on the computer. Fuel is HIGH so we are staying on the side of the road (free) and provincial parks that cost about $15.
