It was raining and damp in the morning. We decided to go to the towns of Phillipsburg and Andaconda. That was a great drive and the town of Phillipsburg with a population of 961 was unique. It was an old mining town that has been restored and most of the buildings for the late 1800's were orginal. Only the main road was paved. After Phillipsburg we drove on a dirt road to the ghost town of Granite.
We then drove around Anaconda, also a old mining town.
